Eric Aidoo is a Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology, School of Medical Sciences, University of Cape Coast. He holds a PhD in Human Anatomy and Cell Biology from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and an MPhil in Human Anatomy from the University of Ghana.

His research examines hepatic damage in murine malaria, including the protective effect of natural cocoa, and morphometric indices of human bony structures in the Ghanaian population. He has taught anatomy on the MB ChB and graduate entry programmes since 2012, is lead author of the School’s Histology Practical Handbook for Medical Students, and chaired the local organising committee of the 2026 annual conference of the Anatomical Society of Ghana.
